The joy of hot milo in winter. The reminder of home in a foreign country.
The satisfaction of waking up after 15 hours of sleep.
Yes, that's exactly how I feel. ♡
After much deliberation, I decided to go for class yesterday after all. And was I glad I did. The weather was absolutely perfect, I really couldn't wish for better.
How long has it been, since I've felt the sun's rays on me? I could have died happy, seriously.
And of course, sweet gifts from the little 5th grade kids. ^^ Remember how I told you they were making thank you cards in English about 2 weeks ago? Yep, they presented them to the recipients in class today, and I got these 2 cute little cards. ♡
It's alright, sweeties. Sensei forgives your spelling errors, just because you are such perfect little darlings. ♡♡♡
Man, I'm seriously -soft- when it comes to children.
Just look at them! No matter how tired/sleepy I feel, I'll always have that special reserve of energy when it comes to interacting with kids. =)
Oh yeah. It was Dolls' Festival aka Girls' Day on Wednesday. Which actually passed me by quite soundlessly. Anyway, there were lots and lots of snacks in the staffroom today, and because we were sitting at the dining table, I just kept helping myself to all those delicious foods lol!! I ate so much that I almost couldn't stomach lunch! Haha!!
Which would have been a pity, because lunch was absolutely awesome!! Strawberries and gyoza!! The strawberries were the most pleasant surprise for me, actually, because I was so sure that they would be sour 'cause they look half-ripe, but they were really really sweet! ^^
My caffeine addiction.
On our way back to the dorm, Shannon and I saw this plum tree blooming in someone's backyard. It's really really pretty. =) And sort of a mini-biological miracle. How the tree reserves all its energies throughout winter and bloom in such profusion. And it doesn't even have leaves, so it's really just totally depleting all its energy reserves to flower. Wonder how it still manages to sustain itself till spring, actually. Gotta read up on that.
The birds and the bees help out in the pollination process too. How absolutely fitting. =)
LOL!!
ayu-chan will be releasing her new album, [Rock'n'Roll Circus], on 14th April! How am I going to survive the concert on the 10th then? I don't want to go for a concert and not know the songs she's singing. T_T
We'll see we'll see. Maybe there'll be leaks or something.
I can't believe this. After 15 hours of sleep, I'm still tired. But then again, I'm not fully recovered from the flu yet. Maybe I should go to bed again after this. Hoho~
Ciaos!!
