I like how the colours match those of my earphones and the laptop deco design. =)
Girlhurt hurts. But it gives me a good reason to sleep most of the day away.
Craving for ramen. And gyoza.

Because I finally managed to open myself up to someone, aka I could do stupid things, LOL at the top of my voice, and act silly and bimbotic without fear of the person judging me for the worse. This is the closest I've felt to home and myself ever since I came here. Thank you!! =)
A little sad, isn't it? But embarking on a year-long exchange alone can do strange things to your mindset.
Anyway, yesterday was a completely crazy day!! It started when ww and I went to Tosen for our volunteer programme, shannon had to visit the doctor's so it was only the 2 of us. Only to discover when we reached the school that Marie-sensei had called in sick too, essentially leaving the 2 of us free to wander around the school unsupervised for the entire day lol!!
Band practice early in the morning! I miss playing in a band really really much. *bad english* And we realized that tons of kids which we taught in our English classes were also in band, so it was quite cute watching them. ^^ They're holding a concert tomorrow afternoon I think, still deciding if I should go listen to them.
My insane partner for the day lol!! ^^ Thanks girl, you were absolutely amazing to be with. =)
We went in to observe a Japanese social studies class, because ww wanted to see how propagandistic it was. The lesson today was on the history of Craft Art in Tokyo, which was something roughly familiar to me, but I actually managed to learn so so much!! It was amazing, the teacher was totally bursting with juicy stories and facts about history and art, it was so wonderful to sit there listening, as enraptured as the kids lol!! XD Wish I'll be a teacher as fun as her. =)
After that, when we returned to the staffroom, we were koped by the HOD to help cut sakura patterns on paper, and we were given a STACK of those to complete. LOL!!! So we became odd job girls for about an hour or so, but it was really nice actually, not boring at all, because it essentially became a gossip session lol!!
Thankfully, a really nice 3rd-grade teacher came to us and asked if we were up to giving a lesson on Singapore in Japanese to her class. That was the best class of the day, definitely!! The kids were just so full of interesting questions, and it feels really good when you see them wanting to know more about your home country. Comforting too, but maybe it's because I'm missing home myself hee! Though those kids really got us stumped for a few questions, like "What's the height of the tallest mountain in Singapore?" Yes, I've found out last night, Bt Timah at 164m. Oops!! Lol I told the kids it was 200m. =P *guilty*
Wandered around the school after that, and discovered that they actually have a pool on the rooftop!! Like, WOW!! But the entrance was locked so we couldn't go to investigate more. But we did find the gym, and these 2 crazy girls started to do jumpshots there lol!! By the way, never wear slippers when doing jumpshots, they'll just slip off your feet, like what happened to me in the above photo. Best thing is she even caught it on camera!! OMG!! It was so super funny, just laughed till I cried. XD
Boys' toilet, where you can look straight in and see a couple of urinals. Whatever happened to privacy lol!! But I guess that in elementary schools it doesn't matter much, 'cause they're all such innocent kids anyways.
Girls' toilet bimbotism heehee!! =D
Lunch was amazingly... all veggie......... Oh man!! Veggie stew with salad, gosh.
But to give it credit, the meal actually tasted quite nice, just that I had to literally force myself to down all those GREEN things eww!! >< Best thing was, when I came back to the dorm, I had the worst tummyache ever!!! I shall go on to conclude that I am officially allergic to vegetables. LOL!! XD
Went for the candy party at Sweets Paradise with ww's church friends for dinner. And wow was it awesome!! Sweets and cakes and pasta everywhere, it was absolutely HEAVEN!! ♡♡♡ It was a 90 minute buffet thing for about SGD$20, so it was quite a good deal.
And this was SO awesome!! I totally adore pasta!! Also had a plate full of cakes, some fondue, stew, cocktail dessert, and fruits. Glad!! ^^
The dress that ww and I bought together. I like how we interpret the same piece of clothing differently and managed to come up with individual styles of wearing it. =) ww looks so so cute!! ^^ And accordingly to weifeng, I look like I'm going to 引 色peipei lol!! =P
And because I had a craving, we went for a 1.5 hour karaoke session after dinner. Was super duper fun!! ^^ Though 1.5 hours is really nothing, for me, it felt like it ended before it even started lol!! Gosh, I'm in such withdrawal!!!
So yeah, that was my eventful Friday. =) Glad. And actually still a little tired now. Maybe I'll go take a nap again lol!! But noooo, that will totally screw up my sleep cycle again. But it's cold and rainy and such perfect weather for sleeping in!! ><
LOL!!
K, shall go read my book, and if I happen to fall asleep, then it's fated. Haha!! Ciao~~
ps: That was tactless. But oh well, it is comforting to a certain extent to finally know that I didn't mean as much to you as I thought I did.
